I doubt anyone would use the word "artist" when describing my somewhat questionable talent with Paint Shop Pro, but I enjoy dabbling, and as such feel the need to force my hobby on the polyamorous community  :::grin:::  I hope you enjoy my poly symbols as much as I enjoyed making them.

All of my art is free for non-profit use, but please do not use my designs for commercial gain.
I would appreciate a link back to this page, if you use it on your website.

Below is my latest piece. Doesn't look like much, huh? Well, have you ever seen those 3-D stereograms, that when you stare at them out of focus, you see a 3-D image pop out? This is one of those, and the 3-D image is an infinity heart. It looks something like this:
This is the stereogram, can you see it?

Click here for another version, with a much wilder pattern covered in little colored hearts.
I think it is harder to see on this pattern, but still neat.
This  was inspired by the pattern on the poly shirt available for purchase at Villain Tees (get one, they are VERY cool!) Their design consists of 2 dragons facing one another in a heart shape, with an infinity symbol twined around their tails. Their design is done in a very nice tribal pattern. I substituted the ever popular poly icon - the parrot - and a non-tribal format.

I originally started this piece in hopes of turning it into a tattoo. I didn't quite have the artistic skill to be happy with it, so I am not willing to have it permanently tattooed on my skin. It is still pretty nice though.

Several years ago I designed some 3D infinity heart symbols. They were inspired by the symbol created by Brian Crabtree.

Later someone asked me if I could make it with a full heart, instead of just an outline of one. This was a bit more of a challenge... I had to make the heart translucent so you could see the infinity symbol.

When I created the first design, I never quite thought the infinity symbol looked right. I mean, it got the idea across and people knew what it was supposed to represent, but you could not actually see the point where the lines cross over. So I have finally gotten off my butt and redesigned it!

This full heart was even more of a challenge for me than the first time. In order to display the infinity symbol correctly, I had to actually have it punch holes into the heart. Pretty gruesome, huh? Oh well... it was worth a try  :-)

This version is a very simple line drawing, it is easy to remove the color and re-fill in the lines. Just for fun I made this infinity symbol purple instead of blue.

Below are an assortment of "poly parrots". The colors I used are a bit fantastical and are inspired by the colors used by Jim Evans in his "Poly Pride Flag".

Red to represent love and passion; Purple to represent the spiritual and visionary nature of the poly people; Blue to represent the openness and honesty in poly relationships. The black "mask" and breast marking represents the "solidarity with those who, though they are open and honest with all participants of their relationships, must hide those relationships from the outside world due to societal pressures".
